[BBLISA] Generate errors on eth devices

Good afternoon,

We are attempting to test several system reporting utilities and have run
into issues with our SNMP information coming from one of our servers.  In
order to test this further, we need a way to generate errors on a Linux
ethernet device.  I have searched google, but have not been able to find a
method of generating these errors.  Does anyone know of a way to do this?
