The Network Administrator is responsible for design, administration,
deployment, maintenance and monitoring of network components to support our
platform. The individual will be working to implement and support
multi-platform, multi-site, 24x7 environments that support telephony,
database, web, and application services.
Duties:
·	Design, administer, support and optimize network components
·	Evaluate, select, purchase, and deploy 3rd party hardware and software
·	Deployment and support of network monitoring and management utilities
·	Assist in migration from TDM to VOIP infrastructure
·	Support, develop and enforce security controls and policies
·	Inventory control and maintenance
·	Provide systems and application support as needed

Requirements:

·	Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced environment and have strong
interpersonal and communication skills
·	Independent problem solver
·	5 years experience in network administration
·	CCNA Certification
·	Experienced with HP and/or Cisco switches and routers
·	Experienced with CheckPoint firewall management and administration
·	Demonstrated knowledge of key networking protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF,
SNMP, DNS
·	Experience with network management tools such as MRTG
·	Ability to troubleshoot and manage Solaris, Linux and Windows 2K and XP
servers
·	Understanding of UNIX based operating systems, paging and swapping,
inter-process communications, devices, device drivers, disk and file system
concepts
·	Knowledge of physical, system, network and data security procedures and
tools, including SSL, SSH, PGP, VPN’s, intrusion detection
·	Ability to write scripts using sed, perl, bash, grep, python and other
common utilities
·	Experience with telephony concepts, circuits, switching and interface
hardware a plus
Operational experience in a call center environment a plus
