Job Title - Title Systems Manager III 

Location - Boston

Salary - $80,000 - $100,000

 

Overview:

My Client is seeking the right individual to provide senior level systems
management for our Unix systems as a Systems Manager III!. The Systems
Manager is responsible for the systems network components, installation and
maintenance of hardware and operating systems, layered products and some
applications support, performance tuning, security, and strategic planning
of systems for our state-of-the-art Information Center. 

 

Summary:

Work requires supervisory experience managing a team. Requires thorough
knowledge of data processing operations, computer hardware and connectivity,
operating systems and networking. Some high level knowledge of
programming/scripting languages is helpful as is a working knowledge of
IBM's Websphere application infrastructure software. We are seeking hands on
expertise in the following Operating Systems: AIX, Solaris, Tru64 and HP-UX.
A Minimum of 2 years of college education in computer science and 3-5 years
of related experience as a Systems Manager or equivalent is desired.
Rotating on-call is also required for this position.
