8 … The tricky part is emulating the sparc processor on intel hardware.
Maybe I have to buy a modern sparc system… Or more likely, I’m
back to getting an old $150 box from craigslist instead of a new $10k server

The “official” way is to install a Solaris 8 container within
Solaris 10. Note that this is a commercial solution – you have to pay for
S8 support and S10 support on the box on which you do this.<br>
