Apple stipulates that the in-app price of content must be the same as elsewhere.  Content owners will have to raise prices across the board if they want to stay on iOS.  That means Ned will pay more so that the content providers can pay Apple.  

And iirc, Apple will be hosting the content, so they should get a cut of each in-app sale.  I don't know their business, so I won't speculate what a fair take would be.
