Hi all:
Sadly Adam and I have both reached into our holiday bags for a speaker
and have come up empty.
So does anybody have a topic they would be interested in presenting in
January? All topics are open, and this is a great chance to develop
your presentation skills in a friendly environment.
Also what things would people like to see covered in the next 12
months?
Some ideas I have heard, gotten positive feedback on are:
useful CD-ROM/usb tooklits
network provisioning using syslinux/pxe
how to design a useful issue tracking system
basic project management for the sys admin (or how I learned
to tolerate the Gantt chart)
ZFS - why, how and who cares
ITIL, lean and metrics a big waste of time or the
way to more effective sysadmin
Mindmapping the sysadmin experience
All thoughts welcome.
