Thanks to everyone who replied.

I agree, the potential for pain is right up there with DIY dental care.

We all know the shortcomings of the idea and agree with it being a "not best practice" :)

But it's good to know that we (on this end) did get the bulk of the situation correct in our assessment and we promise NOT to try something so foolish.
