Some people call OSX a Unix.  I say:  For shame.  ;-)

IMHO, you can't be called a unix, if you have a case-insensitive filesystem,
your config settings are stored in a proprietary format in a proprietary
location instead of using /etc, you have no concept of package selection or
package management, and you're a single-user operating system that cannot
allow multiple logins even if you try.

That ain't worthy of being called unix!  ;-)  That's like installing cygwin,
and saying windows is unix.

Oh well, end rant.  ;-)
