[BBLISA] FYI: OpenEFS.org Enterprise File System

For those of you using NFS and complicated application releases.  
BankOfAmerica has open-sourced its internal EFS system at OpenEFS.org.

It appears to be inspired by AFS.  Its not an FS in the sense of
organizing blocks on disk, but in the sense of organizing the directory
structure of files, projects and releases to clients via NFS. A big
advantage is that clients can be configured with the right release with
one command, backed out, etc.  There is a separation between clients
used for devel, qa, production as well, so that eg. production clients
can't be misconfigured with development or QA code, but all can
apparently share the same underlying set of filers.

Looks pretty cool, but is alpha...
