Also if you set your systems up for PXE/network booting as a
recovery/reinstall mechanism having the host address in DHCP makes it
much easier to rescue boot the system and then ssh to that system
(using it's normal hostname/ip address).

As long as everything is consistant there shouldn't be any problems.
