It's a tad down-scale from what has been discussed in this thread, but
has anyone tried FreeNAS (http://www.freenas.org/)? It supposedly now
comes with ZFS thanks to its FreeBSD parent, which has a license
compatible with the license ZFS is released under.

A recent episode of the "FLOSS Weekly" podcast (hosted by Randal
Schwartz) interviewed a couple of Sun employees responsible for ZFS:

They mentioned the SSD caching (mentioned earlier in this thread), and
the rumors that ZFS might be included in the next OS X release.

They also mentioned Nexenta Systems (http://www.nexenta.com/) which
sells both appliances and software to create enterprise scale NAS filers
using ZFS.
