The answer is: round numbers, 200K. The 8GB sticks are 10X more expensive PER GIGABYTE than the 4GB. Holy cow.

If an HP 4-socket Intel-based blade, with 64 GB memory, (using 4GB memory sticks) costs, round numbers, $32K, then:
How much does the very same blade cost, with 128 GB of memory, using (perforce) 8 GB sticks?
