[BBLISA] Possible idea for September meeting--data destruction party

I have a high intensity degausser that is used to degauss aircraft
engine crankshafts, and such. These are magnetized in order to detect
microcracks with the magnaflux process. I also still have the magnaflux
machine, but its too big and too dangerous to fool with. The magnaflux
also isn't portable, and requires a lot of 12volt high current
batteries--24 I think.
But the degausser is about 2ft by 3ft, runs on 240v and requires about
30 amps (we had it in a 200 amp box, but it still dimmed the lights)
What goes though the coil loop will have no discernable magnetic field
afterwards.... I always thought of the movie "the philadelphia
experiment" every time we used it.
Might work on a portable 7500watt generator... If someone has one of
those, fun could be had by all. ;-)
