I fired up the license server (as they require) and through some
specific incantations, it fills the license file with the license
information.

No wait!  It gets better!

They also, in /opt/FOOFOO_license, create two log files which are, as
you can well imagine, going to grow.

But wait!  There's more!

The files it creates, the license and two (so far) logs, are created
with mode 0666!!!!

Thank the maker they protect me from myself eh?
