[BBLISA] 64-bit Tablet PC and Windows?

Ahhh. :-)

Even though it's what the user wants, sometimes it's the job of IT to inform
them that their wants are based on bad info. I think it's safe to
just-be-sure, that they know, that 64bit os will only matter if there's an
application requiring more than 3G ram in a single process. Such as matlab
with a huge job, or some other engineering application with a huge job in
it.

It is almost always more cost effective to have a PC with high memory, and
supply remote access to it from the portable.

Furthermore, there are a bunch of applications out there that can't run on
the 64bit os. Well, not too many. But I can specifically name the print
driver & config utility for a Dell mfp 1615dn multifunction
printer/scanner/fax. Incompatible with 64bit os. There must be other
similar stuff that won't work.

It is what the user wants, and they are technically knowledgeable.
They've already done a lot of research - I'm just helping to augment the
cause ;-)

Thanks.
