[BBLISA] DLT8 tape drive value?

Lets see Ebay sez-

$700 - 800 for Sun external 8000
$700 for a Compaq internal
$500  for a Quantum internal
$325 for a Dell External
$230 for an HP external

Looks like the mean price is about $700.   But there are some deals out 
there.

like an HP SureStore DLT8000 AUTOLOADER!  for  $800

Just the drive seems to go for about $400-500, an external case seems to 
add about $300.

Wow a ATL 7100 with 3 drives and 100 slots, listed at $6,900 had NO 
takers.
