You would be reporting directly to the CIO, who is an awesome, smart, guy that gives you as much autonomy as you're comfortable with. He's tech savy, but you would definitely be the last tier of support. </p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">Local servers with ESXi, vCenter for some but not all. Two off-site datacenter locations, one colo, one cloud-based. Mixed Windows and Linux environment. Small team of developers who need infrastructure support. A few macs, but no need to support.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">Networking is meraki for wireless APs and POE switches. pfSense for firewalls. Dual-WAN, failover/failback configuration. Client to site and site to site vpn handled via OpenVPN through pfSense.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">Some basic monitoring with Nagios (Check_MK / OMDistro), backups are mixture of UEB, rsync to nfs targets, quarterly off-site rotation, etc.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">Kaspersky Security Center / End Point 10 for end-user anti-virus.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">Microsoft domain is all Server 2012 R2, a few legacy window servers exist for applications in production. Network is in good shape, but things like DR, backups and best practices can always be improved.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">Plenty more to be said - lots of different experience, pay and benefits are very good. Great position for someone who likes to try everything, probably early to mid career, as always, must learn fast and have a good desk-side manner. </span></span>Administration and operation of the Microsoft
Active Directory services, Office 365 communication platform and licensing.</p>

</span></span>Creation and maintenance of end user and server
gold images along with full license management for all software in use.</p>
