Engineering role for a fast-growing startup? Their clients are all over the
country and even overseas, this job will take you to a wide variety of places
to implement and support this really cool wireless technology <br>

We are searching for a talented and energetic Field Engineer to join the team
for our client, a Boston-based startup with a Las Vegas presence. This position
is made up of three pieces: Linux Administration (command line knowledge),
Windows Network Administration, and Database Administration requiring someone
highly reliable, independent and technical. <br>
<br>
<br>
Responsibilities: <br>
<br>
* Install and configure Linux (RHEL) on servers and Back End Processors. <br>
* Install, configure, and deploy a network including router configuration,
routing, vpn tunneling, DNS, firewall rules, wireless, WAN integration, network
bridging and switching. <br>
* Set up and maintain a network of RF access points, printers, laptops, and
servers on the fly in a Linux and Windows based environment. <br>
* Write database queries on the fly for facilitation of custom reports prepared
for clients. <br>
* Manage customer help requests. <br>
* Give tutorial presentations on the product to audiences of 10 – 5000
attendees. <br>
<br>
Technical Requirements: <br>
<br>
* Linux / Unix: memory management, ability to diagnose pipeline / server load
issues, write basic shell scripts other admin duties as required. <br>
* Routers: thorough understanding and dynamic configuration of Firewall, DNS,
VPN, WAN, Bridging, DHCP, Switching, and Port Forwarding. <br>
* Network Troubleshooting/diagnostics, monitoring and security which includes
the understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, Multicasting, Broadcasting, and the OSI
layer. <br>
* Relational Database Experience: The ability to extrapolate data using
multiple joins and query tools. <br>
* Crystal Reports 7.0 or higher <br>
