future network development. Monitors and controls the performance and status of

planning, server system engineering and architecture. Utilizes software and
hardware tools, identifies and diagnoses complex server system problems and
factors affecting performance. May function in a lead capacity and provide
guidance and direction for less experienced technical staff on long-term,
larger-scale projects. Develops technical standards and interface applications;
identifies and evaluates new products; provides resolution for server problems.
May recommend network security procedures and policies. Will develop proposals
as necessary. May interface with vendors to identify and purchase hardware and
