Unix Administrator with Solaris (v9-10), VxVM, EMC SAN
Location:  Boston, MA
Duration: 6 month contract to perm; competitive rates
Immediate opportunity
 
Successful candidate must have at least 3 to 5 years Systems Administration in UNIX

(Solaris 8.0 and up).

Experience in LDAP Management, NIS management, clustering, EMC desirable.

Position Requirements

*         3+ years of  SUN Systems Administration experience

*         Experience with Solaris 9+

*         Experience with NIS

*         Experience with LDAP

*         Experience with EMC Storage Area Network

*         Solid experience with maintaining integrity standards and controls

*         Strong organizational and communication skills

*         Diverse technical background

*         Process and best practice oriented

*         Solid teamwork and multitasking skills

*         Easily adapts to change

*         Highly motivated and considered a self-starter

Solid relationship-building skills

OTHER USEFUL SKILLS:

TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, SNMP, PERL Scripting, Veritas Volume Manager,   Veritas File System and Veritas 

Cluster Server, Solaris Volume Mgr, Sun Enterprise Cluster, Jumpstarts, Micromuse NetCool, EMC ECC, SRDF, TSM backup.
