Senior Database Administrator  - for immediate hire

OurStage is seeking an experienced database administrator to join our 
talented development team. We are looking for a DBA with PostgreSQL 
and/or MySQL experience to help with data modeling, query design, 
database programming, and performance tuning for our production 
databases. If you are an experienced DBA or systems administrator with 
a passion for speed, quality, optimization, and making a real 
difference in helping to deliver a cool web-based experience, we're 
looking for you!

OurStage Engineering is a small talented team with concrete skills, 
using agile development methodologies - producing tangible results on 
regular basis while working hard and having fun.  Team members' skills

Requirements
- PostgreSQL (preferred) and/or MySQL experience
- Extensive data modeling, database programming, and database tuning experience
- Experience working in the Ruby on Rails environment a huge plus
- Experience with database capacity planning and monitoring
- Experience with database replication in various architectures
- Performance tuning of large production databases in high traffic environments
- Linux/Unix systems administration experience a plus
- Capable of working and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work closely with 
both developers and product managers
