    The application developer will create and support innovative analytic  products and database applications that marketers in large non-profit  organizations use to improve their direct marketing programs. These  products and applications are designed to leverage a unique data  warehouse of philanthropic transactional and demographic data that is  designed to facilitate strategic decision-making. The developer will  work on a range of interesting projects that include the development of  systems that efficiently process very large data sets to create key  performance indicators and variables used in our predictive models, and  the creation of front-end user applications and output such as  management reports, web portals, analytic applications, and interactive  dashboards. The company’s software development environment is rich in  tools and technologies from both Oracle and Microsoft and includes  Oracle PL/SQL, Visual Basic, VBA/Excel, J#, MDX, and Java. 
      
        Requirements:        
   A bachelors or masters degree
   5+ years of application development experience.
   2+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience, primarilly in stored procedures, packages and functions.
   Experience in OLAP technologies, Perl, Apache, __JavaScript, HTML, and/or Microsoft Analysis Services is desired.
   Experience working with large, de-normalized data sets and SQL performance tuning is desired.
   Experience with Visual Basic .NET and/or VBA/Excel, C#, or Java is   desired.
   Demonstrated  skills in strong code design, RAD software development methodologies,  code performance tuning and benchmarking, and software quality testing.
   Stong communication and problem-solving skills,, an ability to effectively prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
   Self-motivation and drive to work effectively as part of a team, and to understand "big picture" product requirements.
   A track record of experience and demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality solutions.
