candidate for the position described below.

      Senior Staff Research Engineer
      U.S. Citizenship Required
      Experience in SAR, and/or Optical algorithm image processing design
and development. Working knowledge of adaptive RADAR signal processing
(STAP, MTI, ECCM) and techniques is required. Must be experienced in MATLAB,
Fortran and C languages and comfortable functioning within a UNIX and
Windows 2000 operating environment. Experience prototyping and coding
algorithms as well as building simulations to test designed algorithms.

      Must be able to function with minimal supervisor oversight and have
excellent communication skills. This will entail rapid prototyping, testing,
and characterization of complex processing algorithms (C or FORTRAN).

      Person will interface with other algorithm developers to accomplish
assignments. Person will be an expert technical point of contact with other
scientists and algorithm developers. Requires the person to be flexible
within technology areas that are new and not yet matured. Requires the
person to remain proficient in state of the art processing techniques and
provide recommendations for enhancements and improvements to the current
capability. MS, PhD in Applied Math or EE preferred.

      Applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation and
must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

      Educational Requirements:
      Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline,
or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of
professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a
related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.

      Compensation/Benefits:
      Pay range is in the low 6 figures depending on qualifications;
Includes relocation and an excellent 401k plus pension program.
