Software Development Engineer in Test 

Do you have the zeal for coding with quality as the main focus? Do you have
strong coding and debugging skills along with code breaking testing
techniques? If so, the Internet Explorer division with Microsoft is looking
for a strong Software Design Engineer/Test. 

The IE Core Trident team is responsible for displaying HTML content - from
parsing, through rendering, through hosting and interacting with active
content team. 

Responsibilities include owning the development of tools, automation of
manual cases, working closely with the developers in code reviews and TMAs,
working on the security features. 

Qualified candidates should have a strong background in C/C++, knowledge of
COM. Prior experience in user-mode application programming and debugging,
and software testing technologies is required. Working SQL experience is
highly desirable. Experience with development process automation and/or test
tool development desired. Experience with Internet Explorer client
technologies (DHTML) is a plus. A BS degree in Computer Science or related
technical discipline is strongly preferred. 

If you are passionate about quality, are self-motivated and creative, and
have an interest in test process, you will find this position challenging
and rewarding.  This is a development position with approximately 70% of
your time spend developing in C++.

As this opportunity is in Redmond, Washington, all relocation expenses will
be covered by my client, Microsoft.
